With the Barbie movie coming out people are probably wondering what other feminine, girly films they can watch, let's go further and think of some horror movies that fall under that. This list of for those who love Barbiecore and all things scary. Everyone loves a scream queen!!!

 
Carrie (1976)

Carrie is a movie about Carrie White, a shy girl in high school who is isolated by her religious mother.  She finds she has telekinetic powers after being the target of her classmates and mother, her powers grow the more they torment her, and explode on prom night. This is a classic from the 70s about bullying and feminine rage. Plus a pink dress, that gets ruined... 😭

Jennifer's Body (2009)

Jennifer gives off girly and powerful, which she is, this classic is about female relationships, sexuality, and objectification of women in high school. This horror movie challenges the norm of horror movies and empowers women. And yes Jennifer wears pink.

The Love Witch (2016)

Elaine, the love witch herself, she embarrasses her femininity and has a seductive charm to her (and magic of course), which she uses on men. She is powerful and feminine, and of course, wears pink. 

Black Swan (2010)

Nina a ballerina in New York who is struggling with her mental health embraces her femininity in darkness. Her mental health falls further and further as she gets consumed by dance. 

A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

 Nancy fights off the dream demon we know as Freddy Kruger, all while wearing a pink sweater. She makes good decisions and has great resilience, a perfect feminist icon, and Barbiecore.
