 This is why we say Happy Holidays, not just Merry Christmas, it's not a war on Christmas, we just want to include other holidays. There are so many other holidays around that time, not just Xmas, also so many other holidays throughout the year.  It's true, sugar rush is a lie... There is no evidence supporting it. Every scientist i seen talking about it sid there is nothing supporting this idea, it's just a placebo effect, and there is more pointing toward sugar making you more tired than hyper. Also the sugar rush idea is only really a thing in America, other places don't really push this myth. There have been studies done and nothing pointed to it being true, so we should drop this lie.  Spread the word that this is a lie.

 Halloween is one of the best holidays ever!! But sometimes it's a little hard to think of a costume every year... sure you could just use the costume you used last year or some other previous year but for some of us it's more fun to be something different every year.  1. Ghost You could go with something more simple like a white sheet but you could do something more like an outfit and makeup that will make you look like a ghost. You can also go with a ghost character from media... 2. Royalty King or Queen, Princess or Prince. Maybe you have a favorite character who is royalty...  3. Knight  If you know someone dressing up as royalty you could go as a knight, protect them!  4. Vampire Vampire is a classic Halloween monster, there are also many vampires in media you could go as.  5. Werewolf Werewolf is another classic monster, if it's cold then this one could keep you warm. 6. Witch Witches are often associated with Halloween, obviously you don't want to be...

So I got Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer stuck in my head and it made me think, why did Santa Claus (or the elves ) never tell them off for being bullies to Rudolph? If you read the lyrics or listen to the song, they seem to just let them bully him.   What should you do if your kid(s) ask if Santa is real...  Tell them the truth. Telling the truth should be important to everyone, now obviously telling a lie to protect someone is different but you shouldn't go around telling lies about anything and everything. If your kid believes in Santa there isn't necessarily anything wrong with that, it's kind of normal for kids to believe in fairy tales, but when they ask you you should just tell them the truth. It would be pretty silly to just keep telling them Santa is real when they are older. It won't hurt them to know the truth, and knowing the truth doesn't have to take away any of the magic from Christmas. You can still have fun without believing in Santa.  The most important thing about the holidays should be spending time with people you love and care about and people who love you and care about you.  Happy Holidays!!
