Things You Should Know And Do Before Doing Witchcraft

 With everything, there are things you should know and do before doing said thing, witchcraft is no different. 

Witchcraft isn't a toy or a game, witchcraft can do harm and damage as well as heal and good. So you should be careful with what you do with it.

Witchcraft isn't evil, many people (especially christians) will say that witchcraft is evil. In reality, witchcraft is a tool. Tools can't be good or bad, they are just to help you do something, the person who uses them does good or evil with them. Like a hammer isn't evil. most people use a hammer to tin nails but some people have uses hammers to harm people and hit them with it, that doesn't make hammers evil, just the people are evil. 

Real magic isn't like in the media, you may have seen or read The Craft, Snow White, Merlin, Hocus Pocus, Owl House, Enchanted, Practical Magic, Once Upon A Time, Charmed, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Love Witch, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Little Mermaid, Every Witch Way, among others but magic in the real world isn't exactly like that of course, some of those movies are a little bit closer to real life but they still have some fiction to them because most movies have a little fiction to them. You can't just snap your fingers or move a wand around say a little chant and sparkles will fly around and your wishes come true. Witchcraft takes time, energy, and work. 

Not every spell is going to work or go your way. Some spells might get messed up, or sometimes the universe or god(s)/goddess(es) do something else for you. You just have to keep going and keep working at it. 

Make room for an altar, you need somewhere to do your craft. Make a little space for your witchcraft and witchcraft only. 

Anything can/could be witchcraft, pretty much anything and everything is/can be witchcraft. You just have to look at it from a witchy perspective. 

You are on your path, others are on their path, no two paths are the same. No one can tell you what to do or how to do it, you can't tell others what to do or how to do it. You can make your own decisions. 

Take notes and write down everything. Everything you do with witchcraft you should wright it down, have a journal just for witch-related things, and you can have different witch notebooks for different things. One book for spells, one for dreams, one for tarot readings, etc. 

Read as much as you can about witchcraft. The fact that you are here is a good sign. You are willing to learn and learn more. You can watch videos about many things on witchcraft, you can read many books about witchcraft and history, 

You should try to listen to more than one source and read from more than one source, even if you might not agree with them it's always good to try to see from their side. 

Now go learn as much as you can. And remember you should find your way not completely copy someone else's way.
