Why You Shouldn't Us Ai

I can't believe I have to make this, it should be common sense. AI is bad, but it seems like people don't understand that, or they don't care. I'm sure the people who don't care aren't going to read this tho. 

1. AI uses a lot, A LOT, of water and just outright bad for the earth. 

Yes, there are a lot of other things that use water and power, but a lot of those things are things we need, we do not need AI shit. 

2. AI steals art from REAL people.

Yes, real people can steal from other artists, but we can call them out for it too. AI is only built on stealing other peoples art and hard work, people spend hours, days, weeks, even years making art (depends on what kind of art), only for some AI garbage to make a shit version of it in a few minutes or seconds. 

3. AI is taking people's jobs. 

People are losing their jobs to AI shit. You know the thing that keeps people from going hungry and homeless. The thing that keeps clothes on their backs and keeps the water running. The thing that keeps the lights on and keeps the heating/cooling running. You know basic things that everyone should have, no matter what. 

4. AI is used to spread misinformation.

If you look something up on Google and you see the AI thing pop up at the top it will say at least a few things depending on what you look up, often times it's wrong in some way. I can't tell you how many things I see it get wrong about a video game. 

5. There is Racism, Misogyny, Homophobia, Transphobia, and Ableism baked into these AI tools. 

Have you seen the kinds of videos AI makes? Now I don't go out of my way to watch AI videos, it's the opposite really, I will avoid AI as much as I can. But I have still seen some of the shit AI makes in videos, and it's not just videos, it's other places too, I just want to use videos as an example. 

6. Using AI is holding you back.

When AI does everything for you, you never learn, you never experience things, you will not grow past who and what you are now, and you won't become a better version of yourself. 

7. People will avoid things you make with AI.

A lot of people (myself included) will avoid AI trash like the plague. Any "art", videos, blogs, everything will be avoided. Every time I see or hear something AI, I dip the fuck out, I'm gone, I will block and never come back. You use an AI voice in a video or song? Bye!!

8. People use it to make Deepfakes of people. 

People are using AI to make real people say and do things they never did and never would do. Now, deepfakes aren't new, people have been making them with other tools too, but AI just makes it go way further and way worse. People are even using it to make child p*rn!!! It's not even fake kids, they are using REAL children to make CP. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK?

9. The people using AI are just using it to get views and money. 

They don't care about the process, the experience, the love and care that goes into art. They just want to make quick and easy money and fame. 

10. It looks like shit. 

Sure, it has been getting a bit better over time, but it still looks horrible, and all the other points still stand.
